At Fashionation.me (“we”, “us”, “our”), we take your privacy and the protection of your personal information very seriously. This notice explains how we will collect, use, disclose or otherwise process your personal information. In referring to personal information, we mean information that can be used to identify you as an individual.

As a visitor to our website and/or a member of Fashionation.me you understand and agree to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information in accordance with this privacy policy. From time to time, we may make changes to the Privacy Policy. This may be in relation to changes in the law, best practice or changes in our services and ask you to regularly refer back to this page. Each time you make a purchase on Fashionation.me, we will ask you to confirm that you have read, understood and accept this privacy policy and our term and conditions before processing your order.

2. What data do we collect?

We only collect the data we need to allow us to manage your Fashionation.me account and provide you with our services. When you register with Fashionation.me, you will be asked to provide information such as your name, date of birth, telephone numbers, home address, delivery address, and e-mail address. We will also collect and record information about your purchases and your activity on the Fashionation.me website as well as any email correspondence between you and us. We never collect or store any credit card information, as your payment details are captured directly by our payment processing partner, Etisalat. Whilst we have taken care in selecting our payment processing partner, we are not responsible for their data protection and privacy practices and we recommend you review their privacy policy available on their website www.etisalat.ae. We may ask you optional questions about yourself or about things you are interested in so we can continuously improve our services and offerings on the website. For the purposes of customer service and staff training, we may also record and listen to telephone calls made to our customer service team.

In some circumstances, you may be able to refer a friend or invite a friend to share in a special offer. If you give us personal information about another person, you may be asked to confirm that they have authorised you to provide their personal information to us.

3. Why we collect your data ?

We collect your personal information so we can manage your account, fulfill orders and to deal with any queries you may have on your account or about our services. The information you provide will also allow us to understand what your needs and wants are, and enable us to provide personalised content and highlight promotions and services that may be of the greatest interest to you. It also, allows us to provide many great, targeted member offers and services that we know you may be interested to hear about.

We will use your personal information for administration purposes (including providing the goods, services or information you have requested), marketing, customer services and profiling your purchasing preferences. We will disclose your information to our service providers, including our logistic service provider and our agents for these purposes. Whilst we use reputable service providers and agents, we cannot be held responsible for their privacy and data protection practices. Your personal information will also be disclosed where we are obliged or permitted by law to do so.

By providing us with your personal information to us, you consent to us collecting, using, disclosing or otherwise processing your personal information as outlined in this privacy policy including the transfer of your information to countries outside the United Arab Emirates.

When you give us your personal information, we will give you the opportunity to opt out of receiving marketing information by email from us. It is not our normal practice to send out marketing communications by post or telephone but if we do you will be able to opt out to receiving such communications from us. If you opt out you may not receive information about special offers, promotions, competitions or free samples or trials. You can update your marketing preferences at any time by logging into your account and updating your marketing preferences.

6.Third Parties

We do not rent or sell your personal information, however, we may send you select emails on behalf of third parties detailing offers or services they provide. We will always give you an option to opt out of receiving such third party marketing materials when you provide us with your personal information and we will never supply your information to a third party for marketing purposes. You can update your third party marketing preferences at any time by logging into your account and updating the marketing section.

From time to time Fashionation.me may contain links to third party websites. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those sites and you should refer to these sites directly for information on how they treat your personal information. Fashionation.me has no control over such third party websites and shall not, to the fullest extent permitted by law, be liable for the privacy practices of such websites.

7.Cookies

When you visit our website, we may send you a cookie. A cookie is a small file that can be placed on your computer's hard disk for record keeping purposes and cannot be used by themselves to identify you. You are not obliged to accept cookies and may modify your browser so that it will not accept cookies, however, please be aware that if you disable cookies, some services on our websites may not be available to you. We may use cookies to do a number of things including:
(a) help us to recognise you when you next visit our website and note the advertisements displayed to you. This allows us to tailor the advertisements we provide to your preferences. We may use the services of third party ad servers for this purpose
(b) the compilation of anonymous statistics related to the take up or use of services, or to patterns of browsing. We may engage a third party to collect such data on our behalf to measure web site performance. Information collected is aggregated for reporting purposes but no personally identifiable information is collected by this service. The use of this service can assist us in measuring and improving the structure and ease of use of our web sites

8.Updating or deleting your personal information

When you register online with Fashionation.me, you can see, review and change your personal information by logging onto the site and going to “My Account”. Please ensure you update your personal information if it changes or is inaccurate. If you request your account to be closed, please be assured that this will be done as soon as is reasonably possible. Please be advised that we may not be able to delete all records of your personal information in order to comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, collect any fees owed, resolve disputes and troubleshoot problems etc, but we can hide it from view and where possible, block further usage of your personal information.

9.Information Requests

You can ask us for a copy of your personal information held by us and to ask us to correct any inaccuracies in your personal information. We may require you to provide some form of identification to ensure against unauthorised access to your personal information. A small fee for providing a copy to you may apply but we will notify you of any fee at the time you make your request. Don’t forget you see and can update your personal information online by logging into your account.

10.Change of ownership

Fashionation.me s a division of THe Collection FZ LLC a company registered in Dubai Internet City under Nr. 17795. In the event Fashionation.me or the business or other assets of The Collection FZ LLC are sold to or purchased by another company then your personal information may be passed to that business as our data records form part of the assets of our business.
